Magic Mountain is about mountains and horses. We combine what’s best – unique living creatures and amazing landscape of Rudawy Janowickie. Through our social work we connect youth and adults with various difficulties with those who had more luck as they grew up in different place and time. We like those unusual connections and we invite you to engage with rural surrounding in its purest form – with the buzzing of the insects, croaking of the frogs, the horse pile and awesome sunsets. Everyone can find its own Everest here.
Surroundings
Our house 4Horses and mountain hostel Magic Mountain (so called “barn”) are located in small, lovely village Mniszków, at the foot of the Karkonosze Mountains, in the neighbourhood of Rudawski Landscape Park and Sokoliki Mountains. The area is a one of the favorite spots for rock climbers, and for all those, who are looking for both active but also quietness from urban buzz. Our location offers many phenomenal leisure opportunities: hiking, trekking, also with children, mountain biking, climbing… and all sorts of skiing in winter.
Horses
Our herd count currently 10 horses. Our guests have various opportunities to enjoy horses, that are raised according to the principles of natural horsemanship. We encourage our guests to try new forms of work with horses and consider them as remarkable animals. Through working from the ground we build trust, friendship and good cooperation with that that lead to better quality of horseback riding in the field. All those activities are taking place under the supervision of qualified horse-riding instructor.

Rock climbing and mountain activities
Rudawski Landscape Park offers great opportunities for hiking, starting directly from 4Horses or Magic Mountain barn. Mountain trails lead from Mniszków to long expedition to Śnieżka (the highest peak of Karkonosze), or to a leisurely walk to the Castle Bolczów. Sokoliki is an ideal place for rock-climbers.
In winter ski-touring, skiing and cross country skiing at Łysa Góra, Karpacz, Szklarska Poreba or in Jakuszyce, Izerskie Mountains and Czech Republic
Climbing with instructor: 300 zł per day
approx. 6 hours climbing (including equipment)
Ski instructor: 40 zł for 1 hour

About us
Over 10 years ago, Ewa and Robert founded the Magic Mountain Foundation in Mniszków.
We got together because of our passion for mountains and engagement in various social activities.
We were organizing first climbing camps for people with autism in Poland. With our slogan Everyone has its own Everest, we shared our mountain passions and interests with young people healing from addiction, others who had different social or emotional challenges and also with with adults that for various reasons have been affected by severe difficult life situations.
In the meantime, our family has been enriched with two great kids, Pola and Jarema, who became the reason to limit a bit the mountainous and adventurous path, but also to expand new dimension of our life – horses. Robert came back to his old passion and deep-dived into natural horsemanship learnings. We are enjoying our diverse professional and family life and are excited to share it with many of the great people that step by our place. We welcome you to share the beauty of the place together with us.
Wonderful, cozy place, ideal for families. The house is located in a beautiful area – you can ride a horse, go hiking and biking. Ewa is a person extremely cheerful and very helpful.
The interior is brand new – modern bathrooms, a kitchen that makes my own kitchen at home look silly, and a oh-so-comfy dining / relaxing area right by the fireplace. It felt like home immediately!
Extra attraction is horse riding. The instructor a real “horse whisperer” lets his students understand a soul of these beautiful animals and make friends with them.
We were sad to leave.
Robert is incredibly helpful and helped us with advice and practical help. He knows the area very well, he was able to provide information and valuable suggestions for excursions are always competent .
Marvelous house, equipped with everything that family with children (and dogs) may need to live. We were there with 2 families (together 9 people). The house owners are very nice, friendly, open-minded people who have had a very interesting life – they told us many wonderful evening stories. I will always warmly recommend this place.
